Though clearly at home on the stage, much of Reed's routine has a familiar air - which isn't too encouraging in a newcomer. The only exception to this is an extended mime 'celebrating' a family Christmas, which is an attempt to do something different - although it doesn't quite come off. Otherwise, though a combination of old lines ("It's nice to be here - but then I've just been in Sunderland so it's nice to be anywhere"), well-trodden themes and a weak comedy song just don't add up to anything particularly exciting.
