Hailing from the small Australian town of Wonthaggi, Marcus came to the 2003 Edinburgh festival on the back of the Raw new act competition run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. He returned in 2005, 2006 and 2008. He has previously worked in breakfast radio and as an actor. He is now based in London, and in 2008 performed his his first set in Spanish in Guatemala |

This guy is absolute rubbish. This review was spot on then and it's more than relevant now, FOUR YEARS LATER. The night I saw him, he was playing to an almost empty room with a set that was both lazy and laugh barren. He also swore at a female audience member when her friend had the good sense to walk out of the show. One of the worst comedians I've ever seen. John, April 2011 |

I saw him in Edinburgh last year, I liked him and I especially liked his bumbling style KT, May 2007 |
|
Having gigged with Marcus numerous times in both England and Australia I can only guess that this review caught him on a bad night. He's always been fantastic when I've seen him and have no doubt that he'll continue to be. Dan Willis, May 2007 |
