I saw Meryl performing last Friday at a local gig, I'd not seen her before so wasn't sure what to expect. I was really, really, really impressed! She is hilarious, I was laughing consistently throughout her act, her material is genuinely that good! I would highly recommend going to see her live if you get the chance, you wont regret it! If I had any criticism at all, it would be that when she left the stage, I wanted her to do an encore, (but as there were other comics on the bill, this may have seemed to be "bad form" ha ha).

Vince Croft, October 2011

Saw her at Alexanders last night. Way out of her depth as a headliner. Middle act was miles better. Seemed to be on for an eternity. I'm sure she'll be back though because the bar was full while she was on

Jack Shelley, October 2010

Excellent - that's all I can say

Flora Csapo, May 2008

Probably one of the best comics I've seen on the circuit. Her material effortlessly glides through frivolous and weighty topics. All of which is delivered in an uber honest and cynically upbeat way. Joseph Mackie 29.06.05

Fantastic comic, laughed so hard when I last saw her. Fred 26.12.04

Meryl is an excellent and funny act that's never been anything less than amusing when I've seen her. Mike Belgrave 01.11.04

Weighed down with wearying performing clichés and routine ad libs. Relying on a mere handful of exceptional stingers, her slut-out-of-closet character is still wholly unconvincing, suffocated by the middling pulp that s 90% of her act. Microsoftie 03.08.04 Interesting that my "slut out-of-closet character" is "unconvincing", ask many people on the comedy circuit and I'm sure that they'll tell you its all true. I have also written all my heckle put downs myself... if you've heard them before, someone has knicked them from me! Still nice to finally get a comment on my board after 4 years.
