Profits revealed for the period rape claims first surfaaced

Russell Brand made £4million in the year multiple women made rape and sexual assault claims against him, Chortle can reveal.

According to accounts newly filed at Companies House, the assets held by the comedian-turned-online-broadcaster’s company – Pablo Diablo's Legitimate Business Firm Limited –  rose from £8million at the end of 2023 to £12million at the end of 2024.

During that year, Times newspapers and Channel 4’s Dispatches aired serious accusations from four women about incidents said to have taken place between 1999 and 2005. At the time of the exposé, Brand said the allegations stemmed from a time when he was ‘very very promiscuous’ but said all his relationships had been ‘absolutely, always consensual’.

Police subsequently launched an investigation and in May last year Brand officially pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault in relation to four women.

Last month, the Metropolitan Police issued two new charges against the 50-year-old – one of rape and one of sexual assault. He is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on January 20 in relation to these two additional charges, while a trial is scheduled to begin at Southwark Crown Court on June 16 in relation to the five original charges.

Brand signed off on the 2024 accounts on Tuesday. He is the only director of the company with his wife Laura Gallacher also a significant shareholder. His 2025 accounts are not due until September this year.

Pablo Diablo's Legitimate Business Firm Limited gives the nature of its business as ‘video production activities and television programme production activities’.

Brand’s YouTube channel has 6.7million subscribers and often amplifies conspiracy theories and neo-conservative talking points.

A born-again Christian he has repellently launched a brand called Reborn selling Christian-themed T-shirts and diet supplements. These include Methylene Blue capsules to ‘support clean cellular energy and better oxygen use’ – sold under the slogan 'surrender the self. let mercy flow' – and a diet supplement called Bovine Colostrum which has the slogan ‘from the first light of life, renew your sacred temple’.
