28 weeks in 2027

The UK tour of comedy musical Operation Mincemeat has been extend for 36 weeks into 2027

The first leg ends on November 28 after 304 performances across 20 weeks, having sold nearly 290,000 tickets. The second leg, kicking off in February,  will visit Belfast, Dublin, Dartford, Liverpool, Blackpool and Leicester, plus a two-week return to the Lowry in Salford, among other cities.

Its West End run at the Fortune Theatre has recently been extended to  May 29, while the Broadway production at the Golden Theatre runs to March 14.

Based on a real Second World War misinformation ruse, Operation Mincemeat is also touring North America, Australia, China, Mexico and New Zealand, with the North American leg opening on September 20 in Providence, Rhode Island.

UK tour tickets go on general sale from 10am on Friday, September 25.
