LONDON: Following an off-Broadway run earlier this year, US comic Gary Gulman comes to the Soho Theatre this week with Grandiloquent, a show about 'how a thoughtful boy learned to use humour, reading and writing to cope with the consequences of his parents' blunders'.

LONDON: Ania Magliano, Ed Gamble, Phil Wang and Tim Vine and Ivo Graham are among the star-studdede line-up at the Shaw Theatre for Some Nerve!, a benefit raising money for the MS Society’s Stop MS Appeal.

NATIONWIDE: Campaigners at the Comedy Army have co-ordinated 12 gigs across the country under the banner Comedians Vs. Homelessness – and no guessing what the cause is. The many acts taking part across the UK include Alun Cochrane, Carey Marx, Connor Burns, Dan Tiernan, Karen Dunbar, Matt Richardson, Phil Nichol Scott Agnew, Zoe Lyons and JoJo Sutherland, who's been leading the organisation of this big event. And the participating venues are: London's Backyard Comedy Club, Breakneck in Aberdeen, Hot Water in Liverpool, Komedia in Bath, The Forge in Brighton, The Glees in Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds and The Stands in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle. LONDON: It's a week packed full of amazing charity line-ups. At the Comedy Store, they're raising money for Sophie Hayes Foundation which supports women survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery. The line-up includes Harriet Kemsley, Lou Sanders, Ria Lina, Richard Herring, Sikisa and Tiff Stevenson.

MANCHESTER: And at the Frog & Bucket Allyson June Smith, Anna Thomas, Hayley Ellis and Rachel Fairburn are raising money for Forever Manchester's community activity.
