DREAMING WHILST BLACK: Adjani Salmon returns as Kwabena, searching for his first directing job as he tries to make it in the TV and film world – but only finds projects steeped in back stereotypes that would compromise his integrity. BOOTS: Inspired by the memoir The Pink Marine by Greg Cope White, this new Netf;ix comedy-drama follows a closeted teenager, Cameron Cope (Miles Heizer), and his best friend as he joins the US Marine Corps in the 1990s, when homosexuality was illegal in the military. It stars Miles Heizer as Cameron.

HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU: Steph McGovern hosts for the ninth times with panellists Stephen Mangan and former special adviser to Sajid Javid, Salma Shah, appearing on the programme for the first time.BBC One, 9pm

JOHN CANDY: I LIKE ME: An affectionate documentary about the Planes Trains and Automobiles star from director Colin Hanks features rare and never-before-seen archive footage and private home video, as well as interviews with the likes of Dan Aykroyd, Mel Brooks, Tom Hanks, Eugene Levy, Bill Murray and Steve Martin.It arrives on Amazon Prime Video today.

ROMESH RANGANATHAN'S PARENTS' EVENING: With his travelogue series Can’t Knock The Hustle continuing on Sky Max on Tuedays, Romesh Ranganathan returns to ITV with the comedy game show in which celebrities team up with family members, with the parents choosing which questions their grown-up children will answer. The first episode of series two features Match Of The Day presenter Gabby Logan, reality TV star Pete Wicks and journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy. ITV1, 9.40pm
