Another Fringe benefit...

New fundraiser to aid Gilded Balloon

Sean Hughes, Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran will all appear in a second benefit in aid of Edinburgh's Gilded Balloon.

A London fundraiser has already secured more than £20,000 to help rebuild the venue, destroyed by the fire that gutted the city's Old Town in December.

The aim is now to recreate that success with a Scottish money-spinner.

The new event, as Edinburgh's Festival Theatre on March 20, will also feature Mark Thomas, The Office star Mackenzie Crook and Jerry Sadowitz.

The line-up also includes Michael Redmond, Lynn Ferguson, Arnold Brown, Fred MacAulay, Stephen Frost, Andre Vincent, and musician John Otway.

Those who appeared at last month's London benefit, Gutted!, included Jo Brand, Phill Jupitus, Eddie Izzard, and Rhona Cameron.
