Tom Allen to host It'll Be Alright On The Night
Taking over from David Walliams
Tom Allen is to host the next instalment of long-running ITV blooper show It'll Be Alright On The Night.
The comic takes over from David Williams, who has voiced 20 episodes since 2018.
The programme began in 1977 with Denis Norden as host, with Griff Rhys Jones taking over in 2008.
This year’s episode is scheduled to air on ITV1 on Christmas Day at 5:45pm.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Mel Giedroyc, Bill Bailey and Vanessa Williams will be taking part in a festive edition of Celebrity Catchphrase on the channel.
And Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening will also be returning for a Christmas Eve special featuring Larry Lamb and his son George, Motsi Mabuse and her mum Dudu, and Josh Widdicombe and his dad Tom.
