Violet, 12, intervenes when audience gets rowdy

Send her to Ukraine now!  Katherine Ryan’s daughter Violet proved to be a perfect peacekeeper when audience members started brawling at a stand-up show this weekend.

The 12-year-old took to the stage of the De Montfort Hall  when a fight broke out during mum’s tour show Missus at the Leicester Comedy Festival on Saturday.

In a video Katherine  shared in Instagram, Violet, told the audience: ‘OK, OK. No one’s threatening anyone, just calm down.

‘It’s Saturday, I get it, have fun but please don’t threaten anyone, like, please.’

Her intervention prompted cheers from the audience.

Katherine captioned the clip: ‘When people start fighting at your mum’s show, you’ve got to march out and sort it.’
