Amazon reveals its Australian stand-up release schedule

Ten shows over five weeks

Amazon Prime has confirmed the release of its stand-up specials from ten Australian comedy acts including Celia Pacquola, Alice Fraser and Lano & Woodley Lucy, for stand-up specials.

The shows – all filmed at the Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne and originally announced in September – will roll out from April 10.

The schedule is:

April 10: Celia Pacquola: All Talk (pictured above) which was nominated for the Barry at the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Her profile has grown since then after taking part in Dancing With The Stars. Review

April 10: Zoe Coombs-Marr: Bossy Bottom. The acclaimed show she performed in 2018, after ditching her hack male comic alter-ego Dave. Review

April 17: Tommy Little: Self-Diagnosed Genius. Known to Australian audiences through the TV show The Project.

April 17:  Alice Fraser: Savage. Edinburgh Fringe regular, regular co-host on The Bugle Podcast and its new daily spin-off The Last Post. Review

April 24: Judith Lucy: Judith Lucy vs Men – in which the Aussie comedy veteran reflects on her dating history.

April 24:  Dilruk Jayasinha: Live. Sri Lankan-Australian comedian who took part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here earlier this yea

May 1: Lano & Woodley: Fly. Triumphant comeback show from the 1990s Perrier winners, which won the People's Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Review

May 1:  Tom Walker: Very Very. Absurd physical comedy show  directed by Zoë Coombs Marr. Review

May 8: Tom Gleeson: Joy. Host of TV shows Hard Quiz and Hard Chat known for his abrasive style

May 8: Anne Edmonds: What's Wrong With You? Nominated for the most outstanding show at the Melbourne International Comedy Fe tival. Review
