A black-tie do on the banks of the Thames

Al Murray, Rory Bremner and Milton Jones are among the comedians just announced for this year’s Henley Festival.

The black-tie event takes place on the banks of the Thames from July 8 to 12, with the main attraction being a stage erected over the river that will this year play host to the likes of Madness, James Blunt and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Acts have also just been announced for the separate comedy tent, with  Simon Evans,  Shappi Khorsandi,  Lost Voice Guy, Anuvab Pal, Chris StokesMatt Forde, Ken Cheng Tom Houghton, Justin Moorhouse, Ada Campe, Kirsty Newton, Jonny Awsum, Craig Hill, Olga KochMark Simmons and magician Edward Askham-Spencer.
