SOUTHPORT: The town's comedy festival returns for its 15th year, starting off with Jason Byrne making a stop at the marquee in Victoria Park tonight as he kicks off his 30 Years Byrning tour (Jason Byrne tour dates). Look out for the likes of Paul Sinha, Jason Manford and Adam Kay coming over the next 16 days. BRACKNELL: The Comedy Cellar, one of the UK’s longest-running comedy clubs, is marking a major milestone as it turns 40 years old tonight. Established in autumn 1986 by legendary promoter Malcolm Hardee and South Hill Park Arts Centre, the club has been managed by Simon Houlihan from the start and featured early performances from the likes of Eddie Izzard, Jo Brand, Jimmy Carr, and Sarah Millican.
