GLASGOW: The city's international comedy festival continues apace. Tonight's highlights include Bridget Christie at the Theatre Royal, Connor Burns at the King's Theatre, and Neil Delamare at The Stand. Website.

Monday March 16

LONDON: The Canal Café Theatre in Little Venice and Hen and Chickens Theatre in Islington today launch Sketchfest, showcasing sketch groups and double acts all presenting new hour-long shows. The programme features performers including Biscuit Barrel, Finlay and Joe, Chaos Theory and The Supermalts (pictured) alongside appearances from Justin Edwards and Dan Tetsell. It culminates with a finale at Canal Café Theatre on Sunday March 29, where the top three acts from the festival will perform before a judging panel including Kevin Eldon.

LONDON: Sam Nicoresti brings her Edinburgh Comedy Award-winning show Baby Doomer back to the Soho Theatre for a week, a tale of finding the perfect two-piece skirt suit that's life-affirming, angry, dumb, insightful and political all at once. LONDON: Mark Maier takes over a West End theatre to present his stand-up show, Jewvenile, at the Duchess Theatre.

Friday March 20

GNOSALL: The Staffordshire village may only have a population of 5,000, but it's being treated to a three-day comedy festival in its Grosvenor Centre, with line-ups headed by Shooting Stars' Angelos Epithemiou tonight, witty and quirky Josh Pugh tomorrow and 1970s and 1980s star Jimmy Cricket on Sunday.

OXFORD: Radio 4 favourite John Finnemore presents an evening of his favourite sketches at the Old Fire Station.
