Monday January 10

GUESSABLE: Sara Pascoe welcomes back captains Alan Davies and Darren Harriott and sidekick John Kearns for a new third series of party games. Jason Manford, Miles Jupp, Henning Wehn and Maisie Adam join the fun for episode one. Comedy Central, 9pm.

THE UNBELIEVABLE TRUTH: David Mitchell returns with a new series of the fib-based panel  game, with Alan Davies, Lucy Porter, Lou Sanders and Justin Edwards playing in episode one. BBC Radio 4, 6.30pm

BEAT THE CHASERS CELEBRITY SPECIAL: Comics Omid Djalili and Jenny Eclair are among those putting their knowledge to the test. ITV, 9pm

Tuesday January 11

TOAST OF TINSELTOWN: Bill Hader makes a guest appearance in tonight’s episode as Dwight Difference, a film-maker who throws a David Bowie-themed party attended by Steven Toast. Paul Rudd, Fred Armisten, Rashida Jones and Susan Wokoma join Matt Berry, too… BBC Two, 10pm  

Friday January 14

AFTER LIFE: The third, and probably final, series of Ricky Gervais sentimental comedy arrives on Netflix, featuring performances by comics Kath Hughes, Ricky Grover, Dave Hill, Tim Key and Kate Robbins. Meanwhile, returning cast include  Tom Basden, Kerry Godliman, Penelope Wilton, Ashley Jensen, Tony Way, Joe Wilkinson, Diane Morgan, David Bradley, Michelle Greenidge, Jo Hartley, and Peter Egan.  Gervais also guests on The Graham Norton Show at 10.35pm on BBC One.

WOULD I LIE TO YOU? Always a treat when Bob Mortimer guests. And tonight he’s joined by Angellica Bell,Suggs and Holly Willoughby as well as regulars David Mitchell, Lee Mack and host Rob Brydon. BBC One, 8pm

8 OUT OF 10 CATS DOES COUNTDOWN: Jack Dee and Tom Allen take on Jon Richardson and Judi Love with Dr John Cooper Clarke in Dictionary Corner. Channel 4. 9pm

ONE NIGHT IN LEGOLAND: Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe run riot in the brick-based theme park with Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont, Channel 4. 10pm    

Saturday January 15

POINTLESS CELEBRITIES: It’s a sitcom special with Robert Llewellyn, Nigel Planer, Helen Monks, Steven Woodcock, Isy Suttie, Martin Trenaman, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell and Saoirse-Monica Jackson. BBC One, 7.45pm.
