INSIDE NO 9: This week's story is set in the booth of a karaoke club as Roger (Steve Pemberton) celebrates his promotion. Empty Orchestra - the literal translation of 'karaoke' - co-stars Javone Prince, Tamzin Outhwaite and Sarah Hadland, and in a recent interview Pemberton proclaimed this all-singing episode to be his favourite of the run.

So there should be plenty to talk about; and it's recorded on the day of transmission for extra relevance. It also stars Sarah Campbell. Radio 4, 11pm

Thursday March 9
