Joe Lycett joins Gogglebox
With his aunties
Joe Lycett is joining Googlebox this week.
The comic will be joined on the sofa by his aunties Pauline and Margaret for the Stand Up For Cancer special that airs on Channel 4 on Friday.
In a clip announcing the news, the 38-year-old asks his aunts: ‘What are we doing?’
Pauline says: ‘We’re watching a lot of TV’ – and Margaret adds: ‘And eating chocolate.’
It’s not clear whether the TV they watch will include Lycett’s banishment from BBC One's The Celebrity Traitors.
On being kicked out, he said he paid the price for his desperation to be a Traitor.
Saying he was a ‘silly billy’ he added that it was him ‘begging for recruitment’ as a Traitor that sealed his fate.
He said: ‘’‘I don't blame them, because I would have done the same. I concede I've done this very much to myself, but I was too hungry to be recruited. And you know, if being passionate is a crime, then banish me from the castle.’
