Nine arena gigs

Ricky Gervais has announced a raft of arena shows across Europe for his Legend stand-up tour Legend.

The UK leg of the show – which has also been sold to Netflix as a special – started last month.

The comic said: ‘This is my most personal show so far and because both cancel culture, and most people I knew growing up, are dead, I can really say what the fuck I want now.’

Promoters Live Nation say more European arenas, as well as further UK and North American dates will be announced later.

Tickets for the European dates go on general sale from 10am on Friday.
