Sketch series for stand-up duo

13 episodes for CBBC

Stand-ups Inel Tomlinson and Johnny Cochrane are to make a new sketch show for CBBC.

They have been commissioned to make 13 half-hour episodes, mixing studio and location sketches, due to air early next year.

The Johnny And Inel Show is being made by Princess Productions, the company behind Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff and Sky 1’s Got To Dance, trade magazine Broadcast reports.

Tomlinson and Cochrane performed a Free Fringe show together last year called About Time.

Their CBBC show will be directed by David Sant from theatre group Peepolykus – and the man behind Cartoon Head on the Johnny Vegas sitcom Ideal.
