Dave Chappelle tops Netflix chart
Comic had the most-watched stand-up special
Dave Chappelle has again been named the most popular comedian on Netflix.
The streamer says his latest show, The Unstoppable, was the most-watched special in the last six months of 2025 – even though it was only released on December 19. It attracted 14million views in the 13 days between then and the end of the year.
It meant the show ranked at No81 in Netflix‘s biannual What We Watched report of all programmes on the platform.
Kevin Hart’s Acting My Age was the next most-watched special with 12.4million views, followed by Matt Rife’s Unwrapped – A Christmas Crowd Work Special, with 7.6million, then Jim Jefferies’ Two Limb Policy at 3.7million and Tom Segura’s Teacher at 3.5million
A total of 2.3million watched Ricky Gervais’s Mortality – 1,075th on the overall list of TV shows – but as it only came out on December 30, just two days’ of viewing is counted in the six-monthly report.
Season two of Wednesday was the most-watched series, with 124million views, followed by Stranger Things season five with 94million.
The most-watched comedy was Rowan Atkinson’s Man vs. Baby, with 44million, followed by Nobody Wants This season two and Emily In Paris season 5, which both attracted 30million viewers.
In a separate list, KPop Demon Hunters was the most-watched movie with 482million views, followed by Happy Gilmore 2 with 135 million and Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein with 97.6million.
