Alfie Moore cops another series on R4

Five new episodes for 2018

Radio 4 has commissioned a fourth series from policeman-turned-comedian Alfie Moore.

Five more episode of his show It’s A Fair Cop have been ordered to air next year.

Each episode uses a scenario based on a real-life case, asking the studio audience how they would have acted if they were a police officer in the circumstances.

Moore said: ‘I was very proud of the latest series and I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to write more.  Radio 4 has made a significant difference to my comedy career and for that I am very grateful.

‘In return, I promise to keep it real and continue to tread the fine line between comedy genius and gross misconduct.’
