Alex Mitchell on Britain’s Got Talent

Dating with autism and Tourette’s

Here’s comic Alex Mitchell’s successful audition from Britain’s Got Talent.

The stand-up – who is also a teaching assistant – admitted he hadn't told anyone in his family that he'd even applied to go on the show, telling his mum and dad that he was away for a stag do.

His set – which covered his dating life – got four ‘yeses’ from the judges, and after his performance, Simon Cowell rang Mitchell’s mum to tell her what he had actually been up to.

Mitchell, who has autism and Tourette’s, is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe in August with a show called Tics Towards Puffection.
