Talking about Saturday Night Live U

George Fouracres appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night to talk about Saturday Night Live UK.

The pair discussed how typical British pessimism  expectations for the home-grown version were low before it launched – but reviews (including Chortle's) were pleasantly surprised at how good it actually was.

'That is our general vibe,' Fouracres told the NBC talk-show host. 'That is the highest possible compliment you can get from a British person, if they say: "We wanted to hate you, but we have decided to set aside our desire to destroy you, and instead not outwardly despise you." Thank you, father!'
