Taskmaster series 17 gets a US premiere

The next series of Taskmaster  will have its world premiere in New York.

The first episode of season 17 will be shown for the first time ever at Rodney’s Comedy Club on March 25 - three days before it airs on Channel 4 in the UK.

And tickets for the event have already sold out.

Taskmaster  Greg Davies and Alex Horne, his dutiful assistant and show creator, will be at the event – overseeing a live task with the audience and answering their question.

The show can be seen in the US on the Taskmaster YouTube channel as the streaming platform  dedicated to the show Taskmaster SuperMax+,  which costs £5.99 a month.

 Joanne McNally, John Robins, Nick Mohammed, Sophie Willan and Steve Pemberton are the contestants in this series, which airs weekly from 9pm, Thursday March 28 in the UK.
