2024 line-up announced

The line-up for Best in Class 2024 – a crowd-funding, profit-sharing initiative that helps bring working class comedians to the Edinburgh Fringe –  has been announced.

Those taking part in the showcases this year will be Amanda Hursy, Sam Ayinde, Kelly Rickard, Louis Etienne, Maxine Wade, Sean Gorman, Tasha Cluskey and Garrie Grubb.

They will be following in the footsteps of  alumni including Tom Mayhew, Lindsey Santoro, Jamie Hutchinson, Tamsyn Kelly and Jordan Gray. 

Best in Class, which was started by comic Sian Davies 2018,  won the Edinburgh Comedy Awards Panel Prize in 2022, with the money helping fnance the initiative 

Fundraising shows are scheduled at the Leicester Comedy Festival and Brighton Fringe Festival, or donations  can be made here.
