New BBC podcast from Tom Neenan

He's 'not all men'

Tom Neenan is launching a new podcast on BBC Sounds.

The comic – and lead writer on BBC Two’s The Mash Report – will offer a 'satirised version of himself' in Tom Neenan Is Not All Men.

He will  explore issues such as how to be a good feminist, how to self-care and how to navigate ‘cancel culture’ with guest expert.

Neenan said: 'I feel the last few years have shown how men really need to re-examine themselves and their behaviour. That’s why I tried to make comedy from examining the very worst elements of my own personality and presenting them as a comedy character.

'It’s cathartic, hilarious and distressing to be able to present this truly abysmal version of myself. This podcast is like looking into a mirror made of pure insecurity.'
The series also stars  Shivani Thussu, Rachel Parris, Tom Crowley, Nadia Kamil, Lost Voice Guy, Stevie Martin, Alistair Green, Graham Dickson, Desiree Burch, Benjamin Partridge, Sarah Campbell, Kat Sadler and Natasha Hodgson.
Tom Neenan Is Not All Men launches on Monday.

Emma Sidi has taken great care to replicate the authentic feel of 1980s Spanish-language telenovelas in this spot-on parody, set in contemporary small-town England and which she describes as 'a bit Acorn Antiques, bit Garth Marenghi'.

At her mother's untimely funeral, Becky Hello (a typical British millennial as imagined by Mexican writers who have never been to the UK) discovers she has inherited a fortune. But it isn't long before nefarious family members begin to circle, and Becky must keep her wits about her if she is to avoid the same fate as her mother.
