Maths-based pun claims the title

Angela Bra has won the ‘joke of the festival’ award at the Nottingham Comedy Festival.

Her gag was: ‘Yesterday, a pupil in my class cheated at his homework by changing a subtraction symbol into an addition.  I’ve let this kind of cheating slide before, but this time he’s really crossed a line.’

Told during her show  Secret Diary Of A Bingo Call Girl 2, it topped a poll of listeners of Ashfield community radio station Takeover Radio 106.9, which runs the competition.
