Shows to be taped at Soho Theatre Walthamstow

Chris Ramsey and Iain Stirling  are to record their latest tour shows as stand-up specials.

They will both be taped at Soho Theatre Walthamstow, in North-East London, on April 22 and 24.

It follows the news that Frank Skinner and Al Murray will also be taping their specials in the same venue in the same week.

All four comics are represented by Avalon, which also has a TV production arm.

There is no word on whether any broadcaster will air the shows.

Ramsey’s show is called Here, Man! and started touring in February, though there is no blurb to suggest any theme or content.

Meanwhile, the show from the voice of Love Island is simply called Iain Stirling Live. News of the taping follows yesterday’s announcement that his show Roast The Internet will return later this year on Comedy Central UK.

Tickets for the tapings go on general sale at 10am on Friday. Each show will be performed for the cameras twice in one night.
