Show to stream on Peacock in the States

The British version of Saturday Night Live is to air in the US.

Episodes will be available on the Peacock streaming service the day after they initially air on Sky One.

The exposure should prove a transatlantic career boost to the UK cast of Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young..

Peacock is part of the same media group, Comcast, which owns NBC – the US broadcaster which has aired the sketch series for 51 years.

The first episode will air in the UK on March 21.
