MANDY: Diane Morgan's alter-ego returns for a fourth series of job-related chaos in the gig economy. In this episode, she reluctantly ends up on a Restart scheme led by her benefits officer Jason (Tom Basden) and learns some hard truths. Familiar comedy faces in the episode include Alistair Green, Tony Way, Yuriko Kotani, Sian Gibson – and Martin Lewis. here. BBC Two, 10pm

MR BIGSTUFF: Ryan Sampson and Danny Dyer return as estranged brothers Lee and Glen trying to patch up their sibling rivalry, which picks up from series one's cliffhanger when they discovered that their dad was not actually dead. News which Lee has not taken well… The series also features Harriet Webb, Adrian Scarborough, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Nitin Ganatra and Victoria Alcock. Sky Max, 9pm
Friday July 25
HERE WE GO: Tom Basden's comedy about the travails of the Jessops returns for a third series. In this opener, the family produce an array of gifts to mark the wedding anniversary of Rachel (Katherine Parkinson) and Paul (Jim Howick). The haul includes barbecues, an escape room experience and a Bulgarian smart speaker called Tim. But to get to the escape room, they first have to escape their own house, which proves a challenge. 8 OUT OF 10 CATS DOES COUNTDOWN: The series returns with Richard Ayaode and Harriet Dyer taking on Bob Mortimer and Tom Allen, Ian Smith joins Susie Dent in Dictionary Corner. Channel 4, 9pm
CATHERINE BOHART: TL;DR: One of the newer additions to Radio 4's Friday night topical comedy slot returns for a second series. BBC Radio 4, 6.30pm
TIM MINCHIN TIME MACHINE: Following his triumphant tour of the UK, he comedian's new album drops – 11 tracks that he wrote in his 20s, re-imagined and properly recorded and produced. It features familiar favouries like Rock n Roll Nerd alongside other tracks rarely played until he dusted them down for this release and the live shows. It's available here.
HAPPY GILMORE 2: Almost 30 years after the original, Adam Sandler reprises his role as the titular golfer, now coaxed back into the sport to pay for his daughter Vienna's ballet school. Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Ben Stiller, and Dennis Dugan reprise their roles from the original. The sequel is out on Netflix today.
