Tina Fey, Charlie Brooker and Munya Chawawa have joined the speakers at next month’s Edinburgh TV Festival.
30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt creator Fey will talk to Graham Norton on August 22, the final day of the fest. Organisers said: ‘Fey brings her distinct charm, wit and insight to this lively conversation.’
Black Mirror and Cunk creator Charlie Brooker will take part in an ‘in conversation’ chat which is described as ‘playful and provocative’.
Chawawa will deliver the alternative MacTaggart lecture, making the case for ‘why broadcasters underestimate digital creatives at their peril’ and issuing ‘a call to arms for creative risk’.
The keynote MacTaggart lecture itself will be delivered by former BBC News boss James Harding, co-founder of The Observer owner Tortoise Media.
It was previously announced that Sir Lenny Henry will be there to receive an outstanding achievement award at a ceremony hosted by Nick Mohammed.
Others taking part include actor Michael Sheen, journalist Ros Atkins, Bridgerton producer Shonda Rhimes and reality TV maestro Stephen Lambert, plus Adolescence co-creator Jack Thorne speaking to Culture Minister Chris Bryant.
The Edinburgh TV Festival runs from August 19 to 22 at the EICC. More details on its website.
