Fifth series for The Stand Up Sketch Show

ITV2 series to return next year

ITV2 is making a fifth series of its Stand Up Sketch Show to air next year.

In the hybrid show stand-up routines are reenacted as filmed sketches, with material coming from a mix of  established names  and up-and-coming acts. Those taking part in previous series include Seann Walsh, Russell Kane, Dane Baptiste, Joel Dommett and Felicity Ward, pictured.

The stand-up segments are to be recorded at Up The Creek comedy club in Greenwich on December 12 and 13 and January 16, 17 and 18. Free audience tickets are available from Applause Store.

Created by producer Matt Campion and writer Pete Strauss, the show first aired in 2019  and has so far run for 29 episodes.
