Tim Key announces UK tour for Mulberry

His stand-up and poetry night about lockdown

Tim Key has announced a 2023 tour for his latest show Mulberry, written during lockdown.

He has already performed the show in London venues including Soho Theatre,  Regent’s Park Open Air Theatres and Arcola in Dalston, where it returns for two weeks from October 31.

He will the take in out tour for 29 dates, starting and  Nottingham’s Glee Club on Wednesday March 15.

Key said:‘I started writing this as soon as the locks turned. I’ve performed it online, on rooftops and in front of audiences of cars. To unleash it into UK theatres is literally the dream. I can’t wait to yell some of it and mutter some of it around the country.’

It promises ‘ruminations about the great indoors, a bit of stamping around, continental lagers and Tim’s trademark "poetry". Plus, a door and a fridge.’

The live tour – which goes on sale at 10am on Friday – is based on his book about lockdown, Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush.
