Jon Richardson to host Have I Got News For You

His first time in the chair

Jon Richardson is to host Have I Got News For You  tomorrow – with plenty to talk about following Sue Gray's report into lockdown parties at No 10.

It is his 12th appearance on the programme, but his first in the host's chair.

The show was originally slated to be hosted by Miles Jupp, but he moved up to take control of last week's episode instead, after the originally announced Adil Ray dropped out.

Phil Wang will be returning to the show tomorrow as a guest, opposite broadcaster Joan Bakewell The show - the ninth in the current 63rd series – airs at  9pm on BBC One.

Last week it was announced that Richardson and wife Lucy Beaumont are to make a new comedy entertainment series for Channel 4 seeking the perfect celebrity couple.
