It's Ableism podcast launches

With comedian Cerys Bradley and drag performer Miggy Barker

Comedian Cerys Bradley and drag performer Miggy Barker have teamed up for a new ‘fun, laidback' podcast about disability and ableism.

The show – entitled It's Ableism – is said to take its cue from Radio 4’s now axed Now Show, mixing public and personal disability news stories with comedy.

Bradley, pictured, is known for their stand-up shows about neurodiversity and queerness, while Barker uses their platform to raise awareness of the inaccessibility of venues to wheelchair users.

Guests lined up to appear include comedians Variety D and Benny Shakes and disability activist Georgia Bondy.

The podcast is made by Welsh-based Little Wander, the production company behind the Machynlleth Comedy Festival, and launches tomorrow.

A teaser is available here.
