Planning applications lodged this week

The festival operator has submitted planning applications to return to both Earls Court and Cavendish Square, just off Oxford Street.

Last year, it staged it the London Wonderground festival, featuring its upside-down purple cow venue, on the site of the former Earls Court 2 Exhibition Centre, which is awaiting redevelopment.

Plans for its return from May 5 to July 16 include comedy shows, circus acts family  entertainment, outdoor bars and street food.

Underbelly is also set to erect its wooden Spiegeltent in Cavendish Square from April 28 to July 31, again with plenty of comedy programming/

Line-ups for both locations are expected to be announced within weeks.
