Comics stage fundraiser for Sri Lankan victims

Harry Hill, Romesh Ranganathan, Katherine Ryan and more...

A host of top comedians are to perform at a major benefit for victims of the Sri Lankan terrorist attacks.

The gig will be hosted by Romesh Ranganathan and fellow Sri Lankan Nihal Arthanayake, the Radio 5 Live presenter.

The bill includes Harry Hill, Jo Brand, Rob Beckett, Katherine Ryan and Kerry Godliman.

The night at the Indigo at the O2 in Greenwich will be rounded off with a DJ set by Martin 2 Smoove. 

All proceeds from the event on May 12 will go to those affected, via the British Asian Trust.

Tickets go on sale at 11am tomorrow.

At leas 359 people were confirmed dead when eight co-ordinated explosions took place on Easter Sunday at three Catholic churches and three luxury hotels in Sri Lanka.
