The best of the week's live comedy.

Sunday March 26

EDINBURGH: Burnistoun creators Robert Florence and Iain Connell continue their tour as the know-it-all barflys Uncles at The Stand. And they play the Aberdeen Lemon Tree on Friday.

WELLS: Criminally under-rated - except by anyone who's ever seen him at work - Mike Wilmot headlines the Long Paws Comedy Club at the Little Theatre, with his hilariously grubby tales. Musical Kate Lucas and British-Kurdish stand-up Kae Kurd support, with Chortle Award-nominated compere Barry Ferns as host.

Monday March 27

LONDON: Another ridiculously over-booked night at the Alternative Comedy Memorial Society as a parade of inventive comics muck about joyously. Tonight at the Bill Murray in Islington it's – deep breath – Alexis Dubus, Andrew O'Neill, Ben Target, Dan Antopolski, Eleanor Morton, Elf Lyons, Jessica Fostekew, Joz Norris, Thom Tuck, Tom Bell, William Andrews, John-Luke Roberts, Steve Pretty, Rebekka Turner and Sam Fletcher.

BIRMINGHAM:A benefit for Dogs Trust at the Glee Club is led by punmeister Gary Delaney, himself the owner of a rescue pooch. Telly's Jo Enright and circuit stalwarts Junior Simpson, Leo Kearse and Lloyd Griffith complete the line-up.

Tuesday March 28

LONDON:Father Ted and IT Crowd writer Graham Linehan is behind a fundraiser for the London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign being staged at the London Irish Centre in Camden tonight. Helping swell the coffers are the likes of Nish Kumar, Sara Pascoe, Aisling Bea and Jarlath Regan.

Wednesday March 29

LONDON: It's a big night for charity gigs in the capital, led by the Teenage Cancer Trust's annual bash at the Royal Albert Hall, featuring man-of-the-moment Romesh Ranganathan and ever-popular Kevin Bridges, alongside Jo Brand, Mike Wilmot, Russell Kane, Seann Walsh and Tom Allen.

LONDON: Meanwhile, the Hippodrome hosts a cast-iron bill in aid of Barnado's, featuring Arthur Smith, Ed Byrne, James Acaster, John Moloney and Terry Alderton.

LONDON: And finally, if more alternative stuff, including character and sketch work, is more your scene, Stoke Newington's Mascara Bar is hosting an 'anarchic' night for Help4RefugeeChildren with Jenny Bede, Phil Wang, Jess Robinson, Marny Godden and more.

Thursday March 30

LONDON: There are gossipy, charming stories of motherhood, marriage and friendship from the gregarious Wendy Wason at the Soho Theatre from tonight to Saturday.

Saturday April 1

HASTINGS: Another benefit, this one for Sumatran orangutans. At the White Rock Theatre, it features I Daniel Blake star Dave Johns doing the stand-up he's spent decades doing, plus politicos Marcus Brigstocke and Nish Kumar, upbeat Suzi Ruffell and weirdo Tony Law.
