Apollo cleared for lift-off

Line-ups for BBC1 stand-up show

The line-up of comedians appearing in the next series of BBC One's Live At The Apollo has been revealed.

The show is being recorded in front of an audience of 3,000 at London’s Hammersmith Apollo over the next three nights, with the following acts:

Sean Lock, Jason Manford, Russell Howard, Jo Brand (Tuesday's taping); Michael McIntyre, Frankie Boyle, Dara O Briain, Rich Hall, Rhod Gilbert (Wednesday); Lenny Henry, Ed Byrne, Andy Parsons, Al Murray, Shappi Khorsandi, Russell Kane (Thursday)

Their sets will be edited into six 45-minute programmes to go out weekly from November 28, with an interruption over Christmas. They will air in the slot vacated by Friday Night With Jonathan Ross during his suspension over the crude phone calls to Andrew Sachs.

One executive producer of Live At The Apollo is Ross’s agent, Addison Cresswell, who makes the shows through his Open Mike production company.
