Rachel Parris is up for a Bafta

Comic nominated for her Mash Report segments

Lee Mack, Rachel Parris and Daisy May Cooper are among the stars nominated for a Bafta this morning.

Parris has been nominated for best entertainment performance for her role on The Mash Report, alongside team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack for Would I Lie To You? and Ant & Dec for their Saturday Night Takeaway.

The nominations have split some other partnerships, with Steve Pemberton nominated for acting in Inside No 9, but not his co-star and co-creator Reece Shearsmith; while Daisy May Cooper has been nominated for This Country but her brother Charlie hasn’t.

In the scripted comedy category Derry Girls, Mum, Sally4Ever and Stath Lets Flats are all in the running.
