Comedy Central has renewed three of its formats featuring  Jimmy Carr, Iain Stirling and Babatunde Aléshé.

Jimmy Carr's Am I the A**hole?, Iain Stirling's Roast Te Internet and Stupid Central will each return for a second run. All three launched last year and will be back on on Comedy Central UK before the end of 2026.

Am I the A**hole? is based on one of Reddit's most popular communities, where users submit accounts of their own behaviour and ask strangers to pass judgment on whether they were in the wrong. The subreddit has around 24 million members worldwide and has been running since 2013. 

The TV version – made by production company Tuesday's Child– follows a similar format, with Carr chairing a panel that delivers verdicts on members of the public who write in with their stories. He is joined again by podcaster GK Barry and comedian Jamali Maddix.

Carr has said of the show: 'I guess Comedy Central figure, when it comes to assholes, game recognises game.'

Roast The Internet, which is made in-house by Comedy Central, sees Stirling joined each week by guest comedians and celebrities to mock viral videos and online clips. 

Stirling said he was 'absolutely buzzing' to bring the show back, adding: ‘The internet is really becoming a thing these days, I think everyone will be using it soon!  Which means there’s lots of chaos to dive into and absolutely no shortage of nonsense to tear apart.’

The third returning show, Stupid Central, is a clip programme hosted by Aléshé, featuring footage of mishaps and foolish behaviour from around the world. It will return for twenty 30-minute episodes . 

Aléshé said: ‘I’m so unbelievably proud to be returning to Stupid Central for Comedy Central UK. I love this show and the whole team work incredibly hard to create a really funny format that gives audiences a bit of joy. I can’t wait to get started again.’

The channel says that all three shows have performed well with younger audiences in particular.

All series are commissioned by Comedy Central executive  Luke Hales and Iestyn Barker, who said: ‘It’s been great to see all three of these new commissions resonating so well with Comedy Central UK viewers. Alongside Rosie Jones’ Out of Order, which aired its second series earlier this year, we are delighted to have this strong and varied slate of returning UK originals for 2026.’
