Comedy special drops on Netflx this month

Netflix has released the trailer for London Hughes’s first Netflix special.

Her stand-up show To Catch A Dick, which was nominated for last year’s Edinburgh Comedy Award, will drop on  December 22.

In it, she discusses how male comedians can get laid because they’re funny, but it doesn’t work the other way around.. 

The teaser release comes just a day after the streaming service previewed The Netflix Afterparty, a new show discussing the platform’s best new releases, which she will; host with David Spade  and US comic  Fortune Feimster.

Kevin Hart serves as an executive producer on the special, which was made by his production company Hartbeat.

Hughes’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination last year made her  the first black British woman in 39 years to be shortlisted for the prestigious prize.
