For Christmas day special

The BBC has released the first full-length trailer for the long-awaited Gavin & Stacey Christmas special.

The minute-long clip  begins with Gavin (Mathew Horne) opening his front door for Smithy (James Corden) and they immediately start singing Elton John's Step Into Christmas.

It also shows the whole gang heading to the pub in Barry, as well as the scene from an earlier teaser clip showing Uncle Bryn (Rob Brydon) struggling to make Christmas dinner for everyone.

Stacey (Joanna Page) and Nessa (Ruth Jones) arrive to help, and he tells them: 'Would you kindly inform everyone that dinner will be late.'

The special episode will air on BBC One on Christmas Day.
