Elis James shows us around Cardiff Castle

For a National Lottery campaign

Elis James has recorded a video at Cardiff Castle to mark 25 years of the National Lottery, taking viewers around the 900-year-old landmark as if he owned it.

The video launches a #ThanksToYou campaign, which allows free entry or other special offers at hundreds of National Lottery-funded sites for people with a lotto ticket.

James said: 'It’s real shame that I wasn’t given the keys to the castle, but it was fun pretending it was mine.'

A different celebrity made a similar video in each of the other home nations: Derry Girls’ Jamie-Lee O’Donnell was at SS Nomadic in Belfast, rapper Big Narstie at Kenwood House and Love Islander Anton Danyluk at Scotland’s Abbotsford.

Click here for details of the special offers, which run from November 23 to December 1.
