Trailer for The Amelia Gething Complex

BBC's new sketch show for teenagers

The BBC have released a tailer for their new sketch show, The Amelia Gething Complex.

In it, the titular star says ‘I’m just like you - but I’ve got my own show’ and introduces her two flatmates, Vinny and Poppy as well as her wacky neighbour Wallace ’a one-dimensional comedy stereotype’.

But the show is more surreal that the traditional flatshare offering, with the trailer featuring a tiny fire-breathing pineapple, a paramedic using defibrillator on a piñata, a steering wheel made out of ham and a gorilla in a refrigerator.

The BBC says the show – which drops on iPlayer on Saturday –has ‘an anarchic vibe with high energy laughs’ and is aimed at teenagers.
