Stars in live table tennis contest

Forget Monkey Tennis, Alan Partridge’s desperate TV show pitch, how about Comedian Table Tennis?

Comics including  former Taskmaster contestants Tim Key and Lou Sanders and  Stath Lets Flats star Alistair Roberts are to battle it out to be crowned ‘King Of The Table’.

The gig – at East London’s Moth Club on November 7 – was the brainchild of Australian comics Ray Badran and Sam Campbell, who will be providing commentary.

Deadpan comic Mark Silcox  – known for his appearances on Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back –  will be the umpire.
