Billy Connolly has had his first Covid vaccine.
His wife Pamela Stephenson broke the news on Twitter last night, posting a picture of the comic, masked up and with a small plaster on his arm.
One fan called the post ‘the coolest advert for getting vaccinated you could see’.
The couple live in Key West, Florida, since Connolly retired from stand-up, and as a 78-year-old, he is in a priority group for the jab’.
Yesterday, Florida clamped down on ‘vaccination tourists’ from states with lower supplies getting inoculated.
