Keep It Fringe Fund returns for Edinburgh 2026

But hugely reduced

The Keep It Fringe Fund is returning to help performers bring shows to the  Edinburgh festival – but much reduced compared to previous years.

The society behind August’s mammoth event will hand out 12 grants of £2,500 each – a total of £30,000.

In each of the past two years – with help from the UK Government – 180 shows each received the award, making a total of £450,000 a year.

Applications will open at noon on Monday February 16 and close on March 4. It’s open to any show that will be registered for this year’s Fringe. An online webinar on Friday February 13 will address questions. RSVP here to attend.
