Absolute Radio Live announces 2024 line-up
The line-up has been announced for this year’s Absolute Radio Live charity fundraiser.
Station presenters Jon Richardson and Matt Forde will be co-hosting the line-up at the London Palladium on Sunday November 17.
Also confirmed are Josh Widdicombe, Suzi Ruffell and Glenn Moore, who reads the sport reports on The Dave Berry Breakfast Show.
The night will raise funds for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity, which Forde recently became an ambassador for after receiving life-saving care at the hospital following his cancer diagnosis.
Speaking on the Absolute Radio Breakfast Show he said: ‘It’s a national hospital, so anyone in the country could get referred there and it’s one of the best orthopaedic hospitals in the world.
‘Hopefully none of us ever have to go there, but I did and my recovery would not have gone the way it did without the support of that charity. It’s a privilege that this night at the Palladium will raise money for them - this charity saved my life and it may well save yours one day.’
Last month Richardson took over the Saturday morning slot previously presented by Frank Skinner, who was dropped by the station in March after 15 years. He previously hosted Absolute Radio Live too.
More names are set to be announced for the show soon, and tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday from Ticketmaster.
