Russell Hicks announces debut tour

About being an American in Britain

British-based American comic Russell Hicks has announced his first tour.

The show –  Happy To Be Here – will compare life in the two countries and explain why he wants to remain here, much to the bemusement of the British people

It will also cover his experiences of being sober, polyamory and the different types of relationships he is open to.

Hicks has appeared in  ITV’s ‘Stand Up Sketch Show and Channel 4’s digital competition series Captive Audience, which he won, but has also been growing his social media following, with more than 275,000 followers on TikTok, where he posts clips of his stand-up.

The new tour runs for 36 dates, from Bristol’s Hen and Chicken on October 11 to the MAC in Birmingham on April 25 next year.
